Monorail & Motor Boat Cruise, July 1961

This is one of my fave shots, showing the Yellow Monorail (pre-Nemo layering) including the bubble on top, and the entrance to the Motor Boat Cruise. I have also included a close-up of the Motor Boat Cruise entrance; practically makes you feel like you are entering a Yacht Club!

See more vintage and contemporary Disneyland Monorail photos at my main website.

Wow, super nice, Love the color! I never knew the Motor Boat Cruise had such a detailed entrance, nice touch with all the nautical things!

It's funny, I really didn't like this ride as a kid (hey, they rudder doesn't even work!) but I would pay good $$$ to ride it now...

Thanks Dave, Got to go, I'm getting in line now, right behind that guy with the cool shirt and white hat!

Ya gotta love the motor boats, as lame as they are. They were like the "loveable nerds" of Disneyland attractions!
