Frontierland 1957/58

This batch of slides is from 57/58, with the first one here being a cool shot of the Pendleton shop in Frontierland; just like Main Street, the old Frontierland seemed more like a real functioning western town. Shot 2 shows the town of Rainbow Ridge, and judging by the looks on their faces, I’d say this gang is experiencing a ride breakdown (or maybe they’re just honked off at the photographer). Either way, have a great weekend and see you on Monday!

Wow, they don't look very happy, do they? Maybe it's 100 degrees!

I think the last shot is from when a wayward Jungle Cruise skipper came to the RMRR and told a few jokes and they are reacting to the spiel! The Pendleton shot is very nice, it is a store I miss greatly. One that added a lot of charm and history to Frontierland. I always enjoyed looking at the clothing and also the blankets they had for sale.
